Wine maker Mark Mathews has excelled with the 2014 vintage. A classic Gippsland Pinot – cherry flavours, but with an earthy bite that remains on the palate. Sweetness on the front of the palate with a peppery heat which adds a savouriness that lingers.
This is up there with Bass Phillip amongst the leading Gippsland pinots, in fact its right there with the best in Australia. We couldn’t fault it
A delightful wine made for drinking. Enjoy …. if you can find it!
